Rose


From the genus Rosa, Roses are one of the most romantic and wonderfully scented of flowers. The giving of roses is steeped in tradition and cultural meaning, from the yellow rose of friendship to the deep red rose of true love. The rose is a woody perennial shrub whose varieties’ stems are often thorned. Most species are found in Asia but it is generally well distributed all over the world. Roses are considered one of the most beautiful ornamental plants to decorate any garden.


Cherry Blossom


The Sakura, also known as the Cherry Blossom, is Japan’s official symbol. The Cherry Blossom has its own holiday that takes place yearly in March. Most public buildings in Japan have at least one tree in front of their building


Orchid


The beauty of this flower lies in the fact that it can adapt to its environment, one of the reasons why it is found almost everywhere in the world apart from glaciers. Although, two of its species were discovered above the Arctic Circle in the region of southern Patagonia thus, proving that it could have adapted to such conditions as well.

There are 109 known species and the nativity seems to extend over half the world’s land mass, from Temperate to mountainous regions of Southern Europe, Anatolia in Turkey to Israel and Palestine, North Africa and Iran even the Northwest of China especially in the depth of Pamir, Hindu Kush and Tien Shan mountain range. They are observed to gain a height of mere 4 inches till 28 inches.


Lily of the valley


Convallaria majalis or the lily of the valley is the flowers that grow in the north of Asia, Europe and on some mountains of US. They are completely white in color and they too have a structure similar to a small cup cake. They are highly poisonous so be very aware then around them. They are symbol of simplicity and this simplicity is what appeals the people. They grow in the cool temperature.


Bleeding heart


The bleeding heart flower is one of the spell bounded creation of God, these flowers are very small, approximately 1 inch in size. They are found in pink and red color. They are found in Japan and grow in a cool climate under shades. These flowers are very poisonous so beware when you are around them; however seek medical attention if you devour the bleeding heart flower.

Calla lily is the most breath taking, divine, fascinating, pulchitrudinious and resplendent flower; its beauty clearly signifies the greatness of its creator. The design and structure itself is to mesmerizing that it is very difficult to comprehend the construction of this flower. They are found in many colors such as yellow, pink, red and purple.


Plumeria


Plumeria comes from the family of dog bane and Indian hemp or Apocynum. The name attributes to the toxicity of this genus of the plant family. More commonly known as Frangipani, Plumeria is the native flower of Central America, Caribbean and as well as Brazil. It can grow given the tropical and sub-tropical climate and apt amount of water (the excess of which can rot the root-system and lack of which can dry it).


White Lotus


The white lotus is called the Egyptian white waterlily or the tiger lotus. The species comes from the Nymphaeaceae family and grows in various parts of Southerast Asia and East Africa. Canna (or canna lily, although not a true lily) is a genus of nineteen species of flowering plants. Chrysanthemum


Adorably known as mums or crysanths, Chrysanthemum has been named so from the linking of two greek words chyros (gold) and anthemon (flower). It belongs to the family of Asterceae and comes in the varied shades of white, yellow and pink. These xants are native of Asian and Northeastern European countries. These intricate large flower headed plant can grow up to 50-150 cm long. The earliest mention of Chrysanthemum is dated as far back as 15thcentury in China.
